Ricoh GR II is the latest addition to Ricoh’s existing long-running series of wide-angle compacts. The GR II has been a favourite of many photographers, thanks to its compact size and easy to use design. Designed on lines of the classic GR, this GR || has surged amongst the best cameras when it comes to street photography. GR Lens for Impeccable Image Productivity

Ricoh GR II is equipped with GR 18.3mm F2.8 lens which claims to offer the best high-quality images. Camera’s lens design consists of dual high-precision glass mould aspherical optical elements and another high-refraction, lower-dispersion glass element. The lenses are placed in a manner which helps decrease distortion and chromatic aberration in pictures while generating high-resolution images.

The GR II  comes with impressive features like image rendition at the maximum aperture of F2.8 and image reproduction against the backlight. While the unifocal lens is enough to charm the consumer, its nine-blade iris diaphragm with a natural bokeh effect and sense of depth allows users to click impeccable images such as light beams at closed-down apertures.

Large CMOS Image Sensor Pays Attention To The Details

The GR II is decked with a large-imaging area, sizeable APS-C size CMOS image sensor with approx. 16.2 megapixels. The camera is capable of shooting at ISO3200 which can be further boosted to ISO25600, thanks to the high-sensitivity characteristics and low-noise performance.

Decisive Autofocus For Swift, Precise Shooting

The camera offers two autofocus modes during shooting. The GR II allows you to switch between the two modes with just one switch easily. You can either use the AF button for continuous autofocusing in Continuous AF mode or switch the lever to AE/AF lock, set the focus with the AF button.  After which you can set the exposure by half-pressing the shutter-release button to quick changes of composition.

High Definition 3.0″, 1.23m dot LCD monitor

The GR II transforms your shooting experience with a high definition LCD monitor, accompanied with features like brightness control, detailed and vibrant graphics and scalable font characters. For added safety, the monitor is protected by an LCD screen cover to assure security even in the harshest of conditions.

Built-In Electronic level

The built-in electronic level allows you to check the positioning and inclination of the camera in all directions during the shoot. The degree of inclination is prompted on the bottom of the screen which makes it easier to compose a shoot.

Interval Composite Shooting

The much loved Interval Composite feature allows you to capture starfield photography with much more refined and smoother light trails. Along with allowing users to save the image as a RAW-format file, the update enables finer control over interval time.
